¹¹ The Lord said to him, ‘Who placed a mouth on humans? Who makes a person mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?^(A)

³² They brought to him a deaf^(A) man who had difficulty speaking^(B) and begged Jesus to lay his hand on^(C) him.

²⁵ When Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked^(A) the unclean^(B) spirit, saying to it, ‘You mute and deaf^(C) spirit, I command you: Come out of him and never enter him again.’
