Exodus 6:6-8

⁶ ‘Therefore tell the Israelites: I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from the forced labour of the Egyptians and rescue you from slavery to them. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm^(A) and great acts of judgement. ⁷ I will take you as my people,^(B) and I will be your God. You will know^(C) that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the forced labour of the Egyptians. ⁸ I will bring you to the land that I swore^[a](D) to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.’
