²⁸ Pharaoh responded, ‘I will let you go and sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness, but don’t go very far. Make an appeal^(A) for me.’

²⁸ Make an appeal to the Lord. There has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go;^(A) you don’t need to stay any longer.’

¹⁷ Please forgive my sin once more and make an appeal to the Lord your God, so that he will just take this death away from me.’
