Ezekiel 24:10-12

¹⁰ Heap on the logs, kindle the fire, boil well the flesh, and empty out the broth,^[a] and let the bones be burned up. ¹¹ Then set it empty upon the coals, that it may become hot, and its copper may burn, that its filthiness may be melted in it, its rust consumed. ¹² In vain I have wearied myself;^[b] its thick rust does not go out of it by fire.
