Ezra 6:10-12

10 That they may have to offer sweet odors unto the God of heaven, and pray for the king’s life, and for his sons.
11 And I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this sentence, the wood shall be pulled down from his house, and shall be set up, and he shall be hanged thereon, and his house shall be made a dunghill for this.
12 And the God that hath caused his Name [a]to dwell there, destroy all kings and people that put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God, which is in Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree, let it be done with speed.

10 para que ofrezcan sacrificios al Dios del Cielo y rueguen por la vida del rey y la de sus hijos.
11 También, les doy esta orden: Si alguien llega a desobedecer mis órdenes, que quiten una viga de su casa y claven su cuerpo con ella. Su casa será destruida hasta que quede convertida en un simple montón de piedras.
12 Que el Dios que puso su nombre allí en Jerusalén destruya a cualquier rey o persona que trate de cambiar esta orden o de destruir el templo que está en Jerusalén.
Yo, Darío, he dado esta orden. Debe ser obedecida rápida y completamente.
