4 God saw that the light was good. He divided the light from the darkness. 5 Then God called the light day, and He called the darkness night. There was evening and there was morning, one day.
6 Then God said, “Let there be an open space between the waters. Let it divide waters from waters.”

4 God saw that the light was good,(A) and he separated the light from the darkness.(B) 5 God called(C) the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.”(D) And there was evening, and there was morning(E)—the first day.
6 And God said,(F) “Let there be a vault(G) between the waters(H) to separate water from water.”
