39 ‘As for you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, “This is what the Lord God says: Look, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of^[a] Meshech and Tubal.^(A)

⁸ and will go out to deceive the nations^(A) at the four corners of the earth,^(B) Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle.^(C) Their number is like the sand of the sea.^(D)
