⁸ Then they heard the sound of ^(A)Yahweh God walking in the garden in the ^[a]cool of the day, ^(B)and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God in the midst of the trees of the garden. ⁹ Yahweh God called to the man and said to him, “^(C)Where are you?” ¹⁰ And he said, “^(D)I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
