⁶ So Jacob and all who were with him came to Luz (that is, Bethel^(A)) in the land of Canaan.

³ Jacob said to Joseph, ‘God Almighty^(A) appeared to me at Luz^(B) in the land of Canaan and blessed me.

²³ They sent spies to Bethel (the town was formerly named Luz^(A)).

²⁶ Then the man went to the land of the Hittites, built a town, and named it Luz. That is its name still today.
