²⁷ and the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were ^[a]two; ^(A)all the people of the house of Jacob, who came to Egypt, were seventy.

²⁷ The Lord will ^(A)scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord drives you.
