Genesis 9:5-7

⁵ For I will surely require your blood, wherein are your lives. At the hands of every beast will I require it; and at the hand of man, at the hand of a man’s brother, will I require the life of man.

⁶ Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed. For in the image of God has He made man.

⁷ But, bring forth fruit and multiply. Grow plentifully on the Earth; and increase therein.
