⁹ ‘The final glory of this house^[a] will be greater than the first,’^(A) says the Lord of Armies. ‘I will provide peace in this place’^(B) – this is the declaration of the Lord of Armies.

¹⁰ On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Haggai: ¹¹ ‘This is what the Lord of Armies says: Ask the priests for a ruling.^(C)
