Exhortations to Godliness

¹⁹ Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus^(A) – 

²⁴ and to Jesus, the mediator^(A) of a new covenant,^(B) and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.^(C)

² according to the foreknowledge^(A) of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit,^(B) to be obedient^(C) and to be sprinkled with the blood^(D) of Jesus Christ.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ,^(A) like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb.^(B)

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness,^(A) the firstborn from the dead^(B) and the ruler of the kings of the earth.^(C)

To him who loves us and has set us free^[a] from our sins by his blood,^(D)
