¹⁹(for the law perfected^(A) nothing), but a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.^(B)

²⁰None of this happened without an oath. For others became priests without an oath, ²¹but he became a priest with an oath made by the one who said to him:

The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
‘You are a priest for ever.’^[a]^(C)
