Hosea 7:9-11

⁹Foreigners consume his strength,^(A)
but he does not notice.^(B)
Even his hair is streaked with grey,
but he does not notice.
¹⁰Israel’s arrogance testifies against them,^[a],^(C)
yet they do not return to the Lord their God,^(D)
and for all this, they do not seek him.

¹¹So Ephraim has become like a silly, senseless dove;^(E)
they call to Egypt,^(F) and they go to Assyria.^(G)
