8 Vecinii şi cei ce-l cunoscuseră mai înainte ca cerşetor ziceau: „Nu este acesta cel ce şedea şi cerşea?” 9 Unii ziceau: „El este”. Alţii ziceau: „Nu, dar seamănă cu el”. Şi el însuşi zicea: „Eu sunt”. 10 Deci i-au zis: „Cum ţi s-au deschis ochii?”
