Isaiah 29:13-14

These people approach me with their speeches^(A)
to honour me with lip-service,^[a]
yet their hearts are far from me,
and human rules direct their worship of me.^[b]
14 Therefore, I will again confound these people
with wonder after wonder.^(B)
The wisdom of their wise will vanish,^(C)
and the perception of their perceptive will be hidden.
