“My servants will eat,^(A)
    but you will go hungry;^(B)
my servants will drink,^(C)
    but you will go thirsty;^(D)
my servants will rejoice,^(E)
    but you will be put to shame.^(F)
14 My servants will sing^(G)
    out of the joy of their hearts,
but you will cry out^(H)
    from anguish of heart
    and wail in brokenness of spirit.
¹⁵ You will leave your name
    for my chosen ones to use in their curses;^(I)
the Sovereign Lord will put you to death,
    but to his servants he will give another name.^(J)
16 Whoever invokes a blessing^(K) in the land
    will do so by the one true God;^(L)
whoever takes an oath in the land
    will swear^(M) by the one true God.
For the past troubles^(N) will be forgotten
    and hidden from my eyes.
