² For You have turned a city into a ^(A)heap,

A ^(C)palace of strangers is no longer a city,
It will never be rebuilt.

³ For Tyre built herself a ^(A)fortress,
And ^(B)piled up silver like dust,
And ^(C)gold like the mud of the streets.

⁴ Behold, the Lord will ^(A)dispossess her
And throw her wealth into the sea;
And she will be ^(B)consumed with fire.
