⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.^(A) For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

¹⁶ For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout,^[a](A) with the archangel’s^(B) voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ^(C) will rise first.

² Then I saw the seven angels who stand in the presence of God;^(A) seven trumpets were given to them.^(B)
