⁴ All^[a] the stars in the sky^(A) will dissolve.
The sky will roll up like a scroll,^(B)
and its stars will all wither
as leaves wither on the vine,
and foliage on the fig tree.^(C)

⁶ Look up to the heavens,
and look at the earth beneath;
for the heavens will vanish like smoke,
the earth will wear out like a garment,
and its inhabitants will die like gnats.^[a](A)
But my salvation will last for ever,^(B)
and my righteousness will never be shattered.
