⁶ Then the lame will leap like a deer,^(A)
and the tongue of the mute will sing for joy,^(B)
for water will gush in the wilderness,
and streams in the desert;^(C)

⁸ Watch! I am going to bring them from the northern land.
I will gather them from remote regions of the earth^(A) –
the blind and the lame will be with them,^(B)
along with those who are pregnant and those about to give birth.
They will return here as a great assembly!^(C)

¹² I will indeed gather^(A) all of you, Jacob;
I will collect the remnant of Israel.^(B)
I will bring them together like sheep in a pen,
like a flock in the middle of its pasture.
It will be noisy with people.^(C)

I will deal with all who oppress you.
