Who predicted this long ago?
Who announced it from ancient times?
Was it not I, the Lord?
There is no other God but me,
a righteous God and Saviour;^(B)

like a warrior unable to save?^(A)
Yet you are among us, Lord,^(B)
and we bear your name.
Don’t leave us!

I will repair its gaps,
restore its ruins,^(C)
and rebuild it as in the days of old,^(D)

and all the nations
