²³ By myself I have sworn;^(A)
truth has gone from my mouth,^(B)
a word that will not be revoked:
Every knee will bow^(C) to me,
every tongue will swear allegiance.
²⁴ It will be said about me, “Righteousness and strength
are found only in the Lord.” ’
All who are enraged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.^(D)

¹⁸ Violence will never again be heard of in your land;^(A)
devastation and destruction
will be gone from your borders.
You will call your walls Salvation^(B)
and your city gates Praise.

²¹ All your people will be righteous;^(A)
they will possess the land for ever;^(B)
they are the branch I planted,
the work of my^[a] hands,
so that I may be glorified.^(C)
