Isaiah 45:6-8

Christian Standard Bible

⁶so that all may know from the rising of the sun to its setting
that there is no one but me.^(A)
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
⁷I form light and create darkness,^(B)
I make success and create disaster;^(C)
I am the Lord, who does all these things.

⁸“Heavens, sprinkle from above,
and let the skies shower righteousness.^(D)
Let the earth open up
so that salvation will sprout
and righteousness will spring up with it.^(E)
I, the Lord, have created it.
