    you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you,
    so that he will not hear.^(B)
3 For your hands are stained with blood,^(C)
    your fingers with guilt.^(D)
Your lips have spoken falsely,^(E)
    and your tongue mutters wicked things.
⁴ No one calls for justice;^(F)
    no one pleads a case with integrity.
They rely^(G) on empty arguments, they utter lies;^(H)
    they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.^(I)
