Woe is me,^(A) for I am ruined,^[a]
because I am a man of unclean lips
and live among a people of unclean lips,^(B)
and because my eyes have seen the King,
the Lord of Armies.

²³ The moon will be put to shame
and the sun disgraced,
because the Lord of Armies will reign as king
on Mount Zion in Jerusalem,
and he will display his glory
in the presence of his elders.^(A)

²¹ For the majestic one, our Lord, will be there,^(A)
a place of rivers and broad streams
where ships that are rowed will not go,
and majestic vessels will not pass.^(B)
22 For the Lord is our Judge,
the Lord is our Lawgiver,^(C)
the Lord is our King.
He will save us.^(D)

⁹ Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!
Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem!
Look, your King is coming to you;
he is righteous and victorious,^[a]
humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.^(A)
