To render His anger with fury,
And His rebuke with flames of fire.

And his ^(B)chariots like the whirlwind;
His horses are ^(C)swifter than eagles.
Woe to us, for ^(D)we are ruined!”

² The ^(A)sound of the whip,
The sound of the roar of the wheel,
Galloping horses
And ^[a]bounding chariots!

³ Horsemen charging,
Swords flashing, ^(A)spears gleaming,
^(B)Many killed, a mass of corpses,
And there is ^(C)no end to the dead bodies—
They stumble over ^[a]the dead bodies!
