Jeremiah Persecuted by Pashhur

20 Now ^(A)Pashhur the priest, the son of ^(B)Immer, who was ^(C)chief officer in the house of the Lord, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things.

² Then ^(A)Pashhur beat Jeremiah the prophet, and put him ^(B)in the stocks that were in the upper ^(C)Benjamin Gate of the house of the Lord.
