²⁵ ‘ “I will make a covenant of peace^(A) with them and eliminate dangerous creatures^(B) from the land, so that they may live securely^(C) in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.

²⁸ They will no longer be prey for the nations, and the wild creatures of the earth will not consume them. They will live securely, and no one will frighten them.

⁸ After a long time you will be summoned. In the last years you will enter a land that has been restored from war^[a] and regathered from many peoples to the mountains of Israel, which had long been a ruin.^(A) They were brought out from the peoples, and all of them now live securely.
