^14 (A)Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are saying to you, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon,’ ^(B)for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you.

¹⁴ And the Lord said to me: “The ^(A)prophets are prophesying lies in my name. ^(B)I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, ^(C)worthless divination, and ^(D)the deceit of their own minds.
