Jeremiah 36:18-20

¹⁸ And Baruch said to them, “He ^(A)dictated all these words to me, and I wrote them with ink on the book.” ¹⁹ Then the officials said to Baruch, “Go, ^(B)hide yourself, you and Jeremiah, and do not let anyone know where you are.”

The Scroll Is Burned

²⁰ So they came to the ^(C)king in the courtyard, but they had deposited the scroll in the chamber of ^(D)Elishama the scribe; and they reported all the words to the king.
