Jeremiah 48:41-43

New International Version

⁴¹ Kerioth^[a](A) will be captured
    and the strongholds taken.
In that day the hearts of Moab’s warriors^(B)
    will be like the heart of a woman in labor.^(C)
42 Moab will be destroyed^(D) as a nation^(E)
    because she defied^(F) the Lord.
⁴³ Terror^(G) and pit and snare^(H) await you,
    you people of Moab,”
declares the Lord.
