Jeremiah 49:21-23

New International Version

²¹ At the sound of their fall the earth will tremble;^(A)
    their cry^(B) will resound to the Red Sea.^[a]
22 Look! An eagle will soar and swoop^(C) down,
    spreading its wings over Bozrah.^(D)
In that day the hearts of Edom’s warriors^(E)
    will be like the heart of a woman in labor.^(F)

“Hamath^(H) and Arpad^(I) are dismayed,
    for they have heard bad news.
They are disheartened,
    troubled like^[b] the restless sea.^(J)
