Jeremiah 51:42-44

⁴² The sea has risen over Babylon;^(A)
she is covered with its tumultuous waves.
⁴³ Her cities have become a desolation,^(B)
an arid desert,
a land where no one lives,
where no human being even passes through.
⁴⁴ I will punish Bel^(C) in Babylon.
I will make him vomit what he swallowed.^(D)
The nations will no longer stream to him;^(E)
even Babylon’s wall will fall.
