26 “He shall pray to God, and he will be favorable to Him, and he shall see His Face with joy. For He will render to man His righteousness.
27 “He looks upon men. And if one says, ‘I have sinned, and perverted righteousness, and it did not profit me,’
28 “He will deliver his soul from going into the pit. And his life shall see the light.

26 then man[a] (A)prays to God, and he accepts him;
he (B)sees his face with a shout of joy,
and he (C)restores to man his righteousness.
27 He sings before men and says:
‘I (D)sinned and perverted what was right,
and it was not repaid to me.
28 He has redeemed my (E)soul from going down (F)into the pit,
and my life shall (G)look upon the light.’
