15 just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father.(A) I lay down my life(B) for the sheep. 16 But I have other sheep(C) that are not from this sheepfold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. Then there will be one flock, one shepherd.(D) 17 This is why the Father loves me,(E) because I lay down my life(F) so that I may take it up again.

15 ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ପରମପିତାଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣେ, ସେହିପରି ମୋର ମେଷମାନେ ମୋତେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ଏ ମେଷମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଜୀବନ ଦିଏ। 16 ମୋର ଅନ୍ୟ ମେଷମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନେ ଏହି ପଲରେ ନାହାନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଣିବି। ସେମାନେ ମୋର ସ୍ୱର ଶୁଣିବେ। ଭବିଷ୍ୟତରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପଲ ହେବ ଓ ସେ ପଲର ଜଣେ ମେଷପାଳକ ହେବେ। 17 ପରମପିତା ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତି କାରଣ ମୁଁ ମୋ’ ଜୀବନ ଦିଏ। ମୁଁ ଜୀବନ ଦିଏ, ଯେହେତୁ ମୁଁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ସେହି ଜୀବନ ଲାଭ କରିପାରେ।
