³⁰ I and the Father are one.’^(A)

¹¹ Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Otherwise, believe^[a] because of the works themselves.^(A)

²⁰ On that day you will know that I am in my Father,^(A) you are in me, and I am in you.

Remaining with God

²⁴ What you have heard from the beginning is to remain in you. If what you have heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son^(A) and in the Father.^(B)

¹⁷ In this, love is made complete with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgement,^(A) because as he is, so also are we in this world.^(B)
