⁷ The disciple, the one Jesus loved, said to Peter, ‘It is the Lord! ’^(A)

When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer clothing round him (for he had taken it off) and plunged into the sea.

⁸ I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown them to me.
