¹¹ ‘Truly I tell you,^(A) we speak what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony.

²⁸ As he was teaching in the temple,^(A) Jesus cried out, ‘You know me and you know where I am from. Yet I have not come on my own, but the one who sent me^(B) is true. You don’t know him;^(C)

¹⁶ His disciples did not understand these things at first. However, when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about him^(A) and that they had done these things to him.
