³⁶ ‘But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish.^(A) These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent^(B) me.

²⁸ ‘What can we do to perform the works of God? ’ they asked.

²⁹ Jesus replied, ‘This is the work^(A) of God – that you believe in the one he has sent.’^(B)

²⁰ Do not tear down God’s work because of food. Everything is clean, but it is wrong to make someone fall by what he eats.^(A)

⁸ Watch yourselves so that you don’t lose what we^[a] have worked for, but that you may receive a full reward.^(A)
