15 Then they picked up Jonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea stopped its raging.(A) 16 The men were seized by great fear of the Lord,(B) and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows.(C)
17 The Lord appointed a great fish(D) to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights.(E)

15 Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm.(A) 16 At this the men greatly feared(B) the Lord, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows(C) to him.
Jonah’s Prayer
17 Now the Lord provided(D) a huge fish to swallow Jonah,(E) and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
