¹⁰ While the Israelites camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, they observed the Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the month.^(A)

⁸ Afterwards, go ahead of me to Gilgal. I will come to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice fellowship offerings. Wait seven days until I come to you and show you what to do.’

¹⁵ So all the people went to Gilgal, and there in the Lord’s presence^(A) they made Saul king. There they sacrificed fellowship offerings^(B) in the Lord’s presence, and Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.
