⁹ And Jehovah said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of that place was called ^[a]Gilgal, unto this day.

²⁶ And they raised over him a great heap of stones, unto this day; and Jehovah turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of ^[a]Achor, unto this day.

²⁶ And the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city, and called the name thereof Luz, which is the name thereof unto this day.

¹⁹ But God clave the hollow place that is in ^[a]Lehi, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore ^[b]the name thereof was called ^[c]En-hakkore, which is in Lehi, unto this day.

¹² And they went up, and encamped in Kiriath-jearim, in Judah: wherefore they called that place Mahaneh-dan, unto this day; behold, it is behind Kiriath-jearim.

⁷ He slew of Edom in the Valley of Salt ten thousand, and took ^[a]Sela by war, and called the name of it Joktheel, unto this day.
