Joshua 14:12-14

¹² “Now, therefore, give me this mountain of which the LORD spoke on that day (for you heard on that day how Anakim were there, and the cities great and walled) if so be that the LORD will be with me, so that I may drive them out, as the LORD said.”

¹³ Then Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, for an inheritance.

¹⁴ Hebron, therefore, became the inheritance of Caleb, the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, until this day, because he followed constantly the LORD God of Israel.
