Joshua 14:13-15

¹³ Then Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, for an inheritance.

¹⁴ Hebron, therefore, became the inheritance of Caleb, the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, until this day, because he followed constantly the LORD God of Israel.

¹⁵ And the name of Hebron was formerly, Kirjath Arba (Arba being a great man among the Anakim). Thus, the land ceased from war.
