Judges 10:14-16

¹⁴ Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen.^(A) Let them deliver you whenever you are oppressed.’

¹⁵ But the Israelites said, ‘We have sinned. Deal with us as you see fit; only rescue us^(B) today! ’ ¹⁶ So they got rid of the foreign gods^(C) among them and worshipped the Lord,^(D) and he became weary^(E) of Israel’s misery.
