⁵ On the fourth day they were up early, ready to leave, but the girl’s father insisted on their having breakfast first. ⁶ Then he pleaded with him to stay one more day, as they were having such a good time. ⁷ At first the man refused, but his father-in-law kept urging him until finally he gave in.
