Judges 9:4-6

⁴ And they gave him seventy pieces of silver out of the House of Baal-Berith, with which Abimelech hired worthless and reckless fellows, who followed him.

⁵ And he went to his father’s house at Ophrah, and killed his brethren, the sons of Jerubbaal, seventy people upon one stone. Still, Jotham, the youngest son of Jerubbaal, remained. For he hid himself.

⁶ And all the men of Shechem gathered together, with all the House of Millo, and came and made Abimelech king on the plain where the stone was erected in Shechem.
