¹⁵ ‘Do not act unjustly^(A) when deciding a case. Do not be partial^(B) to the poor or give preference to the rich;^(C) judge your neighbour fairly.

¹⁷ Do not show partiality when deciding a case;^(A) listen to small and great alike. Do not be intimidated by anyone, for judgement belongs to God.^(B) Bring me any case too difficult for you, and I will hear it.

Good News for Gentiles

³⁴ Peter began to speak: ‘Now I truly understand that God doesn’t show favouritism,^(A)

¹¹ For there is no favouritism with God.^(A)

⁹ And masters, treat your slaves the same way, without threatening^(A) them, because you know that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favouritism^(B) with him.^(C)

²⁵ For the wrongdoer^(A) will be paid back for whatever wrong he has done, and there is no favouritism.
